LOS ANGELES — ARPornTube has introduced browser-based streaming for its AR content via DeoVR.
According to a rep, users can now stream video and relevant playback metadata directly to DeoVR, bypassing download requirements.
“Passthrough video technology has developed incredibly quickly, but accessing the content can still involve far too many technical steps,” said the founder of ARPornTube. “We wanted to bring the experience closer to conventional online streaming. Users can discover a scene on ARPornTube, press 'Watch in AR' and send the stream directly into DeoVR rather than downloading the complete file first.”
The streaming functionality is available for compatible content from ARPorn.com, SLR Originals, PassthroughVR, and VRSpy, among others.
