HOLLYWOOD, Calif.— The Hentaied Universe has released its fourth FMV (full motion video) game, “Embrace of the Estate,” starring Valentina Nappi and Clemence Audiard.
Directed by Romero, “Embrace of the Estate” is a horror-fantasy FMV game/interactive film where the viewer plays Valentina Nappi’s character and must go to the estate to free her friend Clémence Audiard from a tentacle-infested house, according to a company description. “Valentina is risking everything to save her friend. But is there something much more sinister going on? You have to play to find out. In the game, you can search the house room by room, solve puzzles, reach the part where Clémence is trapped, and take control of the tentacle action as they fight (choosing the position, pace, and how the scenes play out). Players must survive each room to stay alive. You resist the tentacles or become their plaything.”
“We had a Discord Q&A for two hours last week to chat about it. The interactive film will make you feel like you’re in the director’s seat. This is our most ambitious game yet, but it’s really more like a choose-your-own-adventure film. And it’s blowing people’s minds,” said creator/producer Romero, Mr. Alien.
