LOS ANGELES — Ginger Lynn Allen, Blake Blossom, and Gizelle Blanco appear alongside Jake and Gary Busey in the mainstream feature "Dead Janitors Club."
The dark comedy hails from directors Kenny Gage and Devon Downs, and producer Robert Rhine of Girls and Corpses Films. Jeff Klima based the script on his own memoir about an illicit side business — cleaning up after real-life crime scenes.
In the film, Allen plays Celeste, a cigar-smoking "Angel of Death." Blossom appears as a hostage in a tense action scene, while Blanco plays Jake Busey's seductive stepdaughter.
"Why distinguish between adult and mainstream talent?" asked Rhine. "If they are great on screen, I will always consider them. Jillian Janson was amazing in my 2018 film 'Cynthia.' I think more mainstream producers should cast talent from the adult pool. Ginger and I go way back. She's both a great friend and an amazing actress. She has appeared in several of my films, such as 'Pig Killer' and Rob Zombie's '31,' and I’d be happy to cast her, as well as Blake and Gizelle, in future projects."
Following theatrical screenings in L.A. and New York, "Dead Janitors Club" is now available to rent or buy on digital platforms.
