LOS ANGELES—AVN Media Network is pleased to announce that adult entertainment superstars Cherie DeVille and Skitty will co-host the 2027 AVN Awards Show presented by MyFreeCams.
The 44th annual ceremony is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 23 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
In what has become the adult industry’s most iconic tradition, the AVN Awards Show will celebrate outstanding achievements in all areas of content production, retail and pleasure product innovations in the past year.
The red-carpet gala marks the finale of the 2027 AVN Show that features five separate events—including the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE), Adult Novelty Expo (ANE), GayVN Awards Show and “O” Awards—in what will be a complete takeover of the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas property.
DeVille is a Brazzers exclusive contract star who has won a record five AVN Awards for MILF Performer of the Year, while veteran MyFreeCams model Skitty is the reigning AVN Award-winning Favorite Cam Girl who was the AVN CAMStar in September 2020.
“We are thrilled to have the incredible Cherie DeVille and Skitty host the 2027 AVN Awards Show,” said AVN CEO Tony Rios. “These two talented artists are the epitome of adult industry excellence and we are counting down the days until we can see them on stage together for the biggest AVN Awards Show in our history.”

DeVille—who was born in Durham, N.C. and raised in Washington D.C. and Cape Cod, Mass.—has been a Brazzers contract star more than five years.
The former physical therapist and professional swing dancer has authored a remarkable 14-year career, capturing AVN’s top MILF performing honor in 2025, 2023, 2021, 2019 and 2018 and racking up more than 1700 on-screen credits.
Still, Cherie admits she didn’t think the opportunity to host the industry’s most anticipated annual event would ever present itself.
“Not to be negative, but I never thought I would get to host,” DeVille says humbly. “To me it’s like the pinnacle—like the ‘it.’
“It’s still truly hard to get my head wrapped around it. I’m beyond excited, honored, thrilled, and shocked.”
Cherie adds, “It’s the biggest honor in our industry, these awards. This is it. This is the biggest accolade we can achieve as porn stars. It feels so validating for all of the hard work we put in.”
DeVille recalls her first time attending the AVN Awards Show in 2011.
“And I haven’t missed one since,” Cherie continues. “I had only been in the industry for a few months and my agent at OC Modeling said it was this big awards show. I didn’t realize it was connected to the convention.
“My agency had an area where you can come and sign and that was the first time I did a signing for anything at all. I was blown away that even after a few months people came up to me and asked for autographs.
"I made so many good connections with performers and directors. I hadn’t expected what amazing networking it would be. It was so cool.”
As DeVille has grown in stature, the star has used her platform to advocate for positive change in the industry. A respected voice in the adult community, Cherie has contributed dozens of community-minded think pieces to media outlets such as The Daily Beast, The Hill, Rolling Stone, New York Post and Associated Press.
The California native Skitty did the first live stream of her career in 2014, taking a few breaks before committing full time to MyFreeCams in the middle of 2016.
Suffice it to say, Skitty has never looked back.
The creative force behind Skitty.TV for years has delivered one of the most technically advanced shows in the live-camming space. Her “Erotic Nude Performances” feature pole dancing, burlesque, oil shows, a smoke machine, elaborate props and numerous costumes at her fully equipped in-home studio that even includes a custom-built stage.
She tells AVN that being asked to host the world’s most storied adult awards show was a pleasant surprise.
“Gosh, I was very caught off guard to be honest with you,” Skitty says. “It’s a huge honor. I didn’t even plan to win the award this year.”
She wasn’t kidding—at one point it wasn’t even a certainty that she would make it to the awards show.
Skitty reveals she got a traffic ticket on the way to the AVN Awards when she accidentally “half-ran” a red light.
“I got pulled over two exits before the parking garage and I was on the side of the road for two hours. I was crying. I almost did not go. It really threw me off,” Skitty recalls. “Somehow the universe told me to hang in there and I got there.”
She adds, “My mom called it though. I called her when I got to the garage [at Virgin Hotels] and she was like, ‘You’re gonna win. I know you’re gonna win now.’ And she was right. It was such a crazy day.”
Skitty tell AVN that somehow her professional cam modeling career just keeps getting better.
“I have even more accomplishments than I did at six years when I got CAMStar, and I remember how big of an honor it was just to do that,” Skitty adds.
She says it feels good that her hard work is paying off.
“I got in at a really good time and I stayed consistent,” she says. “You can’t really take time off. You have to stay on the grind.”
One of her first AVN memories is bumping into rapper Yung Gravy—literally.
“I ran into him in the crowded hallway trying to get into the Awards with my friend, and I didn’t even know it was Yung Gravy,” she jokes. “It was such a fun time. We felt like superstars.”
