GENEVA—The parent company of pleasure brand Sportsheets was awarded a legal victory in an intellectual property dispute that was litigated before a single-person dispute panel at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Intora Inc., the company that operates Sportsheets in the United States, filed the complaint before the Arbitration and Mediation Center in August 2026 in a case challenging an infringing domain name that is owned by a U.S. citizen.
The infringing domain name is www.sportsheets.net. Sportsheets has its official site at the domain www.sportsheets.com.
Richard W. Page, the panelist in this case, found that the owner of the infringing domain name was in violation of protected marks related to the Sportsheets brand and product lines. As a result of the hearing, WIPO transfered ownership of Sportsheets.net to Intora as a means of resolution.
