LOS ANGELES—At just 5-foot-4 and 120 pounds, Toronto native Maisey Monroe proves that good things come in small packages.
Her down-home charm and her infectious smile notwithstanding, the comely young starlet is at home in her high heels and form fitting dress that oddly enough, play second fiddle to her striking green eyes and cascading blond hair when it comes to getting attention.
Having arrived in town for AVN’s Summer Social, Monroe admits she has her feet firmly planted in both, her rural life just outside Toronto and in Los Angeles’ fast-paced, big-city lifestyle.
“I want to do big movies and features because those things are where my passion grew in the media,” she said. “Being in a feature even though it’s not a lead in it or having a big passion project would be incredible to me because those are the things I got into films for. It’s my passion, so it’s not for sex or for just for money. It’s for the passion of films.”
Given her background in acting and modeling, Monroe’s selection of her porn name is easy to understand.
“As a theater kid, Hollywood always had a huge influence on me. Marilyn Monroe is one of the true icons of entertainment and I selected my name to pay homage to her and what she means to me,” she said. “Marilyn’s confidence, charisma and groundbreaking presence inspired me most. Her massive ambitions in entertainment and her hustle to make them happen represent the exact goals and approach I’ve had as a kid.”
With nearly 75 credits since her 2024 industry debut, Monroe has starred in a slew of releases from such brands as Bang!, Elegant Angel, Filthy Kings Lethal Hardcore, Naughty America, Nubiles Porn, Vixen and others.
Having grown up in a small town outside Toronto, Monroe’s passion for performing for others went way back when she appeared in plays and later in mainstream modeling where she grew to love being in front of the camera. By the time she graduated high school she was already planning to join OnlyFans to find out what the fuss was all about. It wasn’t long before she saw her star rise through her unique content accentuated by her girl-next-door charm and innate sensuality.
Just a year later, Monroe found herself signing with Foxxx Modeling and performing in the first of many shoots opposite some of the industry’s top male performers some of whom helped her get her footing in the industry.
“My first week two years ago I was with Mike Adriano of Dirty Auditions and I feel like all the auditions ones have that teaching aspect,” she said. “I’m sure the girls getting on his set understand and realize his sets are very intense and you have a lot of support there and for that I’m very grateful.”
As for her biggest inspirations in the industry, Monroe has a short list that even includes fellow Canadians.
“One of my biggest inspirations is Blake Blossom,” she said. “She is just great. To me she has this amazing trajectory and I haven’t worked with her yet and I would love to. And I would say a few of the Canadian girls I absolutely love, for example Emma Hix. Seeing the way she transitions over to L.A. and has that full career and that’s kind of like what I’m looking for. Not a side business, but a career.”
But as the year is slowly coming to a close, Monroe is already planning to end 2026 with a bang as she continues to raise her profile through popular releases.
“For this year, I would really like to do some girl/girl,” she said. “I used to date a girl when I was younger, so for me that is very interesting. But I haven’t been able to tap into that. And as for gangbang-blowbang things I don’t think I’ve done anything more than two guys so I think that aspect as well could be brought into my portfolio.”
Although her bucket list includes earning nominations and potential awards down the road, the bubbly blonde is happy to avoid dating and continue to explore her talents and hone her craft as she navigates the changing world of porn.
“I haven’t dated in three or four years, almost since high school,” she said. “But that’s by choice because I don’t want to get into something I’m not fully committed to and I know I’m fully committed to my work and my passion and no one can pull me out of this. I hear a lot of how boyfriends can pull you out, but I do have a great support system with my friends.”
With an eye on keeping fit and eating healthy, Monroe is all about maintaining a wellness routine that allows her to do her best work.
“I’m completely natural so I take pride in that. I’ve never had Botox or filler. I’ve never had anything done, so I'm trying to stay that way for as long as I can,” she explained. “I feel blessed and I want to show the world that. But as far as body and physique, I work out about two hours every day and I really try to keep in the gym and keep my physique up, but I know my fans love that PAWG aesthetic.”
While she continues to travel between Toronto and Los Angeles, Monroe says she enjoys the uniqueness of each place though eventually she plans to make Los Angeles her home base.
“I live in Canada… I have that down time and love to be in a small town so when I get that tired feeling, that ambition is still there,” she said. “I get to go home so I have that mental clarity and give my body a break and get that good balance of work and life.”
Meanwhile Monroe is set to star in the upcoming Mr. Pynk from Ellis Camino, which she recently shot. She is also set to appear in a new scene for Adult Time’s Transfixed.
