CYBERSPACE—PrimeCast has officially opened “creator and studio early access” for its forthcoming adult entertainment platform, “giving industry partners the opportunity to establish their presence and prepare their catalogs ahead of the public streaming launch,” a PrimeCast rep said.
Positioned as “Adult entertainment. A higher standard,” PrimeCast is being developed as “a new home for adult films, creators and studios. The platform will combine subscription streaming, with individual rent and buy options, allowing viewers to choose how they access available releases,” the rep added.
During the early access period, adult creators and studios can register, build dedicated creator profiles and branded studio pages; upload free and premium content; add posters, trailers, previews, cast information and categories; and schedule approved releases to go live when public streaming begins.
“PrimeCast is about giving adult films, creators and studios a stronger identity instead of reducing everything to a thumbnail in an endless feed,” said director/cinematographer Zsolt Abraham. “We want studios to build a real home for their catalogs, creators to be discovered as creators, and audiences to choose how they want to watch.”
PrimeCast will introduce two complementary earning models for its participating partners. When a viewer subscribes through a studio or creator’s PrimeCast page, that partner will be eligible to receive 70 percent of the attributed subscription revenue. The platform’s PlayShare program will provide an additional “content consumption-based” earning opportunity of up to $180 per 1,000 qualified premium plays.
No content exclusivity will be required. PlayShare qualification, revenue attribution and other participation conditions will be subject to the platform’s applicable terms and eligibility requirements.
“The business model is designed to recognize two different contributions,” Abraham said. “Partners who bring audiences should participate in that subscription relationship, while creators and studios whose content keeps viewers watching should have another opportunity to earn through PlayShare.
“Early Access gives those partners time to prepare properly,” he continued. “They can build their presence, upload both free and premium releases and schedule their catalogs so they are ready when the doors open to viewers.”
PrimeCast’s shared streaming subscription is planned at $24.95 per month and will provide access to premium content across participating creator and studio catalogs. Rent and buy options will be offered separately, for eligible releases.
Early Access for creators and studios is open now at PrimeCast.show.
