LAS VEGAS—Takedown Piracy has successfully infiltrated, and maintains consistent access, to a major piracy community responsible for distributing large collections of stolen creator content through MEGA.nz folders.
This infiltration and enforcement operation, active since at least May of this year, continues to identify and remove newly posted infringing material, daily, a representative for Takedown Piracy said.
“Through continuous monitoring of newly advertised MEGA folders, Takedown Piracy reviews each collection, identifies content belonging to its clients, and initiates removal actions immediately. Between May and September 2026 (alone), this effort resulted in the removal of 1,884,339 MEGA.nz URLs for containing unauthorized copies of client content,” the rep added.
