Lovense launches Glint, a touch-responsive butt plug that synchronizes anal stimulation with a partner's movements during intercourse. Available now.
Lovense has launched Glint, a new touch-responsive butt plug designed for couples that synchronizes anal stimulation with a partner's movements during intercourse. The device, which debuted in Singapore on October 20, 2026, is now available directly from lovense.com.
Glint distinguishes itself from other couple toys by taking its cues from the couple's own movement rather than relying solely on a phone or remote. The plug is worn anally, with its base remaining outside the body. An external sensor in the base reads skin contact, specifically how much of the base is covered, the angle of contact, and its duration. This information is then used to adjust the vibration across five intensity levels.
A Lovense representative described how a touch sensor in the base reads skin contact and changes the vibration as the contact changes. The representative noted that most couple toys worn during sex still take their cues from a phone or remote, while Glint takes them from the couple's own movement. The sensor reads how much of the base is covered, at what angle, and for how long, then moves the vibration across five intensity levels to match. A fingertip prompts a smaller response, while a palm or a partner’s thrust against the base during intercourse triggers stronger stimulation.
During intercourse, each thrust against Glint's base triggers the vibration, so the anal stimulation moves in time with the couple's rhythm. In foreplay, a partner's hand on the base does the same. Either partner can wear it. In pre-launch testing, the response during intercourse became automatic and simply followed the movement.
Dan Liu, CEO of Lovense, stated that for years, the company had been considering what a toy for couples to use during sex should look like and what it should do. He added that it also had to stand clearly apart from the couple toys already on the market. Liu expressed confidence that Glint is a distinctive answer to that question and that Lovense hopes to change couples' view of toys during sex, and even their habits.
The wearer sets Glint up once in the Lovense Remote app, choosing a sensitivity and one of three response types. "Pulse" gives up to three rhythmic pulses per touch-and-hold. "Sustain" vibrates for as long as skin stays on the base. "Crescendo" starts low, builds while the contact continues, then resets, according to a product description. Once set up, Glint responds automatically without requiring further phone interaction.
Measuring 21.5mm (0.84 inches) and weighing 55g, the compact design positions Glint as an option for beginners exploring anal toys, as well as couples looking to incorporate stimulation into partnered sex. Lovense noted that stores hear the objection most often about wearable couple vibrators competing for space during intercourse.
Through the Toy Sync feature, Glint can also synchronize with compatible Lovense devices. If the other partner wears the Edge 2 prostate massager, each thrust or touch against Glint's base changes the vibration in both toys at once. Glint also pairs with Lush 4 and Gush 2 Motion and other devices from the Lovense ecosystem.
"Touch Records" is an optional feature. Users can switch it on in the remote app to see touch frequency and duration after each session. This feature is disabled by default. For online adult content creators, Glint also works with Lovense's tip-activated streaming tools, like other devices in the range.
