LOS ANGELES — The official categories for the 2027 XMAs, the Adult Industry's Biggest Night®, set for Sunday, Jan. 10, have been unveiled, with the event's pre-nomination period now open.
The annual red-carpet extravaganza honors excellence across the most extensive and inclusive range of categories, spanning movie production, creators, digital media and pleasure products.
As always, this year's XMA categories have been refined to reflect the industry's ongoing evolution, ensuring today's most relevant trends, innovations and formats receive the recognition they deserve.
Industry members who are registered members of XBIZ.net can access the pre-nomination portal here. The deadline for entries is Sept. 30.
Separately, pre-nominations for the fan-voted categories will open Sept. 15 and run through Oct. 15.
To be eligible for nomination, movies and pleasure products must be released between Oct. 1, 2025, and Sept. 30, 2026.
Links to digital content, marketing materials and/or website access information must be submitted via the entry forms.
Continuing a time-honored tradition, select categories from the Digital Media and Pleasure & Retail branches will be presented at two dedicated ceremonies during the XBIZ 2027 event series, set for Jan. 7-10 at JW Marriott L.A. LIVE.
