VANCOUVER, B.C. — Organizers for the inaugural Adult Game Fest convention and trade show have announced the nominees for the event's awards ceremony, taking place Saturday, Sept. 26, at 5 p.m. (PDT).
According to a rep, Ela Darling will host the event, while DJ Psywentz will continue the celebration at the afterparty.
“There is an incredible amount of talent in adult gaming, but historically there haven't been many opportunities to bring the entire community together and celebrate that work on this scale,” said Adult Game Fest Executive VP Anna Lee. “These awards are about changing that. We want developers, creators, publishers and innovators to know that the work they're doing matters, that people are paying attention, and that there is a place for their achievements to be recognized.”

Excellence in Gameplay
Excellence in Storytelling
Excellence in Art & Design
Best Voice Acting/Vocal Performance
Immersive Experience Award
Rising Star Developer
Developer of the Year
Industry Pioneer Award
People's Choice Award – Live Voting
Unlike the juried categories, the People’s Choice Award will be decided by the Adult Game Fest audience through live voting throughout all three days of the convention. Only Adult Game Fest attendees may vote.
The Next Big Adult Game Award
Presented by Nutaku, The Next Big Adult Game Award will be determined based on the results of The Next Big Adult Game pitch contest, taking place on Friday, Sept. 25, at 2 p.m. (PDT).
