LOS ANGELES—Alicia Silver's journey is a unique one. She might have started as most girls do in the adult industry, but even in 1998, she was different. That is why she is changing the industry one scene at a time with her own production company.
11:11 Creations is a woman-directed, fan-inspired media company built from Alicia’s more than 25 years in adult entertainment. 11:11 Creations specializes in high-end, personalized content for women, couples, and custom enthusiasts.
“The name 11:11 has a deeply personal and spiritual meaning to me,” Alicia says. “It represents alignment, synchronicity, manifestation, and co-creation—the idea that when people come together with a shared intention, they can bring something meaningful to life.”
That philosophy is woven throughout her work.
“This isn't something where they're coming in with a cell phone, and we're shooting three minutes of footage,” Alicia says firmly. “There's a place for that, don’t get me wrong. But these are full productions. I would love for the end person and even the industry in itself to know that, because that is the misconception when people walk on my set that they think, oh, it's just a custom.
She assures me it is not. “These take a lot of time and effort. I have three channels on Adult Time that these go up on.”
11:11 Creations is actually celebrating its 11th year in business.
“I didn't think about that until you asked,” she says. “I didn't quite realize it was our 11th anniversary. Perfect time to do all this. 1111customsxxx.com is my completely live membership website.”
As well as scenes, Silver has a philosophy about the models that join her program.
“1111 Cash is a residual program for models,” Alicia explains. “There’s no other space that I know in the adult industry that gives models payment after they've already shot a scene. I felt like that was something close to my heart.” Alicia is very passionate about making sure her models are compensated for their work in the long run. “They're essentially all my affiliates. It's their brand, and it's their name and their image.”
Essentially, models shoot the scene but make money each time that scene is purchased. “I want that to become the norm in the industry,” Silver says. “I want the models to get paid more than just the one time that they come in and film.” So far, it seems to be working.
Alicia specifically chooses models who have a name and a following. “We have about 15 girls right now. Once a girl has a brand and a name, it’s much easier to sell a custom and have somebody buy a custom of her because they know who she is,” Alicia says. She knows a model’s worth and has been in this business long enough to know how a performer's career works. “Your body is your own career. Your image is yours.”
Silver says her path to this point as a company owner all started when she was 18.
“I was out dirt bike riding with my boyfriend at the time, and there was a girl there,” she recalls. “She was showing her Barely Legal magazine to one of the guys. I came from a very, very strict environment. I was very naive, very green.” But the female friend was encouraging. “I'd never even gotten undressed in front of somebody before, let alone end up in a magazine. She introduced me to Matt from Matt's Models.”
“I ended up meeting another girl who did custom videos,” Alicia continues. “A lot of times it was foot fetish, pedal-pumping videos, balloon popping, things of that nature. Then Hustler magazine called and said, hey, we'd love to shoot you. Then I started shooting with Hustler.”
From there, her career took off. “I shot with Playboy, “College Babes,” things of that nature, and did the whole magazine route and then worked with Girlfriends Films and shot many videos with them.”
Then, she made a choice for her continued future in the industry. “I decided I cared about the business side of things more than I did about acting.”
However, she had a few things to learn.
*“*I didn't know how to hold the camera. It wasn't my forte,” Silver says. “I tried to get into financial services. It was incredibly boring, but I'm really glad I did because I met my current husband, who I've been with for 11 years, married for nine, and he's my soulmate.”
And the number 11 has come up again.
Alicia is also very excited about her first feature called “Siren Spell.”
“Sal Genoa stepped in and did camera work on that. The end user is the one who actually made it happen and came up with the idea, and then we created it,” she says animatedly. “It's a beautiful piece you can see on the site right now. I was really nervous doing it, but we kicked ass and did a great job.”
Alicia explains that the production was very intense. “We were on set for a 14-hour day. It was not an easy thing to shoot.” The basis of the feature is two witches—Chantal Danielle and Meagan Moore—seduce Troy Francisco and take the best he has to give.
“There's some special effects in there. There's great photography, great videography. Even down to the costumes, to the makeup, everything was amazing,” Silver says.
Alicia’s face flushes with excitement. “I'm hoping to do four of those next year.”
Alicia’s approach with this company is very specific and customer-centric. “It's very much a collaborative effort from the person purchasing the content to the person making the content,” she tells AVN. “Very much so that everyone involved has a voice in it.”
When the script goes back and forth between production and client, Alicia makes sure to cover all the bases. “I try to ask a lot of questions.”
Often it is a husband asking for a custom video; and she will ask if the wife wants to be involved. To the surprise of the husband, the answer is usually yes.
“Now, the Custom Enthusiast gets to experience this together with their spouse,” Silver says with a proud smile and a laugh. “I just enjoy bringing them together. Saving couples one scene at a time.”
