SANTA CLARITA, Calif.—Jo has officially launched the “Jo Retail Education Program,” a free, in-store initiative designed to "help retailers educate shoppers and make personal lubricants and intimate wellness products easier to understand and navigate.”
The first assortment of educational materials is available now, at no cost, through Jo preferred distributors. Retailers can also request materials directly through a Jo sales representative.
“Education has always been an important part of how we support our retail partners, but we also recognize that many consumers are making decisions right at the shelf,” said Kong Son, vice president of sales at Jo parent company CC Wellness. “The Jo Retail Education Program gives retailers easy-to-use tools that help their teams have more informed conversations while giving shoppers the information they need to feel more confident in what they’re choosing.”
The program combines product-specific merchandising with broader category education. “Find Your Perfect Jo” helps shoppers understand the differences between water-based, hybrid and silicone lubricants and navigate Jo’s range of formulas.
“How Do You Know Your Lubricant Is Safe?” provides guidance on what consumers should look for when selecting a personal lubricant, including product identification, intended use and important labeling information.
The initial assortment also includes dedicated education for lines including Jo Agape, Coconut Hybrid, Xtra Silky, Cumplay, Jo Flavors and the Vitalize intimate wellness collection.
Materials are available in multiple ready-to-display formats including educational cards, table tents and shelf talkers, allowing retailers flexibility to incorporate education throughout the store.
The current assortment is the first phase of a larger Jo Retail Education platform, with expansion planned for 2027. “Retailer feedback and in-store usage will help guide future materials covering additional products, collections and category topics,” a Jo rep said.
“We hear directly from our retail partners about the questions their teams and customers are asking,” Son added. “This program turns that feedback into education they can put directly into the retail environment.”
