CYBERSPACE—MintStars has launched “Custom Clips,” a marketplace for custom content.
Users can post a request with a description, budget, length, deadline and category. Creators can browse requests, express interest, or pass on the request to remove it from their view. Users also can choose an interested creator to complete a request at any time.
Once an offer is accepted by a creator, the user pays. The creator then delivers the clip, which is previewed by the buyer, and payment is released when approved. Creator custom content options are coming soon, according to a MintStars rep.
Creator profiles show ratings and review counts with completion rates, delivery times and badges. Users can choose based on track record and creators can build a reputation across jobs.
“Sometimes the industry is hard to navigate and we want to remind everyone that it doesn’t have to be. Real fan requests, real creators who are excited to make content, completely streamlined. We haven’t had a system this simple and safe in a long time, so it’s time to bring it back,” said Corii, head of support and “fellow MintStars Baddie.”
