NEW YORK—Pornhub is inviting adult and mainstream creators alike to upload podcasts, gaming streams, tutorials, interviews and other safe-for-work (SFW) content to an audience “already searching for more” on its platform, according to a representative.
To qualify as “SFW,” videos must contain no nudity or explicit material and must not be “intended to arouse.” Formats can include cooking, fitness, travel, gaming, humor, education and lifestyle content.
Creators can now earn advertising revenue from SFW views and funnel audiences to their fan sites, subscription platforms and other paid channels. “Offering steady traffic and platform stability during a surge in bans and deplatforming from traditional streaming and social media platforms, now is the optimal time for creators to consider adding Pornhub to their content monetization strategies,” the rep suggested. “The demand is clear. Interest in SFW content is growing on Pornhub.”
In the company's most recent Year in Review, podcast, gaming and music ranked among the platform’s top-gaining categories in 2025: Podcast was up 327 percent, gaming increased 283 percent, and music was up 62 percent. Searches for “SFW” rose 114 percent, while “SFW ASMR” and “SFW dance” increased 56 percent and 72 percent, respectively.
The data reflects an expanding idea of what visitors come to Pornhub to find and a clear opportunity for creators, the Pornhub rep said. “Existing Pornhub creators can turn that demand into additional revenue alongside their adult content, while creators new to the platform can reach audiences seeking a wider range of videos on one of the world’s most visited platforms.”
“Pornhub is a cultural access point where creators can build an audience around the full range of who they are,” said Alex Kekesi, VP of brand and community at Pornhub. “Creators invest time, creativity and resources into their content. Safe-for-work uploads give them another way to earn from the broader range of what they create, including content they may have published elsewhere, giving content a second life [to] earn more.”
“Pornhub offers creators a platform built around discovery,” the rep continued. “With over 130 million daily visitors worldwide, SFW uploads can reach beyond a creator’s existing following, as the platform’s algorithm helps surface videos to viewers most likely to be interested.
“That reach even extends to select regions where Pornhub is currently restricted: SFW videos can still surface for visitors in those regions, strategically putting creators before audiences they may not otherwise reach.”
That discovery happens through features that will feel familiar to creators. Content appears across video pages, search results, recommendations and categories, as well as Shorties, Pornhub’s scrollable vertical video feed. Creators can seamlessly upload and repurpose their existing social content, with no additional production required.
Creator profiles on the platform also can funnel viewers to fan sites, subscription platforms and other channels, as the site “not only permits but encourages” creators to link to premium sites from their Pornhub profiles. This is generally not permitted across competing platforms, the rep explained.
SFW content can also create opportunities for collaborations and sponsorships.
“Across the broader digital landscape, heightened stigmatization, shifts in platform policy and moderation decisions are narrowing creators’ visibility and, in some cases, removing work built over years. Despite adherence to terms of service, many adult content creators are increasingly finding themselves deplatformed and banned from social media and traditional streaming sites. For creators navigating those shifts, adding Pornhub to their distribution mix provides another source of traffic and revenue, helping them reduce their reliance on any single platform and build greater stability into their business,” the rep added.
While Pornhub remains an adult entertainment platform, highlighting SFW content creates an additional opportunity for creators. “It does not signal a move away from adult content,” the rep emphasized.
Creators interested in uploading SFW content may do so by joining the Pornhub Model Program at pornhub.com/partners/models.
